The lock has a simple 5 button keypad and a # button which is used when programing. The unit has 3 program levels: 1 - The Master Code: Opens the lock / changes the master code - set/change/delete the sub-master and user code. 2 - The Sub Master Code: Opens the lock / changes the sub-master - set/change/delete the user code. 3 - The User Code: Opens the lock / changes the user code. Acceptance or rejection of a code are indicated by the blue and red LED's. Power the lock is powered by 2 x 1.5 volt AAA cells which will provide in excess of 10,000 openings.
