Chubb Conquest Range

Padlock design and construction has remained virtually unchanged since the end of the nineteenth century. Neither have their materials and capability sustantialy altered in recent decades.

Yet the technology and weaponry available to vandals and theives has advanced alaringly. The value of what the padlock is intended to protect has escalated dramatically. The incidence of attack is steadily increasing.

Padlocks are the front line in the battle against criminal intrusion and their often isolated position makes them prime targets for violencce.

When the main entry weapons were hammer, crowbar and saw, good strong bolts and thick metal were adequate. But todays's attack is a far different proposition.

The armoury is even more formidable: portable drilling equipment, heavy duty bolt cutters, high tensile saw blades capable of slicing through conventional steel, and freezing techniques which can make metal brittle to hammer attack.

	3G110 Security Range Castle Mortice Deadlock	A 5 detainer mortice deadlock for wooden doors which require a high degree of protection. Providing many thousands of key variations, the lock incorporates a brass bolt reinforced with hacksaw resistant steel rollers. Hardened steel plates are fitted to both sides of the lock to protect the mechanism against drill attack.	5 Detainers. Case size = 73mm. Backset = 45mm. Available in either brass or satin finish. 	3R35 Mortice Deadlocking Latch	A 5 detainer mortice deadlocking latch suitable for external wooden doors where slam action is required. The door is secured by an automatic deadlocking action, whilst the snib can be used to hold the bolt back when the door needs to be left ajar. The operating handle on the inside can be secured by key from either side.	5 Detainers.	C1301
	3K70 Mortice Deadlock	This 5 detainer mortice lock combines a key operated deadlocking action with the facility for using handles. Suitable for main entrance doors as well as intercommunicating doors.
