MORLANDS ,
a family business, can trace its history back over three generations.
During that time many interesting locks have been worked on and a great
deal of material has been collected, both in the form of books, catalogues,
and other documents as well as a substantial number of interesting locks
and keys. Part of this site is given over to The History of Locks and
Locksmithing. The aim is to display much of this material, together with
input from others around the world. Don't hesitate to contact us if you
feel you can add to these pages in any way, either with an interesting
comment or experience, or indeed if you worked for a lock company and
would like to share your reminiscences.
